What delegates say about our events
“The Envirolink Grid Connection course was absolutely first rate for me, well balanced, presented, and gave me the insight I was looking for. It could not have been better.”
Ian Trow, Managing Director, Energy & Automation Group Limited
"An excellent event, well organised and a really good use of time. It's not every sales day that you can get in front of four potential buyers in an afternoon."
Dr Peter Bullivant, Managing Director, Isothane Ltd
"I found the ‘Meet the Supplier’ event really useful and had the opportunity to meet some well chosen local companies. I made good contacts and have already given several of the contractors the opportunity to tender for upcoming projects. I look forward to the next one!"
Cameron Smith, Facility Services and Energy Officer, Hyndburn Borough Council

Material Recycling Facilities: Updating Technology - Which Route to Take?
MRFs have a key role to play in the creation of high quality/high value recyclate streams that can be used as feedstock materials by a range of industries. However, does the technology used in the process make a difference on the quality of material produced?
Envirolink is holding this topical event to debate this question of mechanical sorting versus hand picking between key players in the industry, so that delegates can get a better understanding of the requirements for material recycling.

SRF: Fuelling the Future
This year’s Landfill Tax rise to £64 per tonne plus disposal charge means that sending waste to landfill is becoming an uneconomical option. In a climate where customers are looking to get the best deal possible on their waste disposal costs, recycling and waste companies are under pressure to find alternatives to landfill. Solid recovered fuel (SRF) or refuse derived fuel (RDF) offers a potential to utilise the combustible fraction of waste as a fuel within the energy, combined heat and power (CHP) and cement industries.
This event provides an introduction to SRF markets in the UK and Europe; testing standards and protocols; best practice refinement equipment; the perspectives of end users and case study examples.
Further information on this event will be available soon.
